We made it to Watson Lake , Yukon. Possible the best known place in The Yukon Territory due to it’s Sign Forest. There are said to be 40,000 signs here, I will not dispute that. There seems to be 5 acres of tightly spaced sign poles, each hold about 40.
Another job for our overworked Tail Gunner, STU. Climb a rickety ladder and place of sign for all to admire.
Being a little more cautious, we placed our oak sign at eye level {mine}. Along with My Cane emblem, Anne-Maries finger points to an O.E.S. emblem.
We continue to have trouble with our 12 volt power supply. I show only 8v at the slide motor which is making it struggle, it will burn up if I can’t repair the root cause. Our weather continues to be great, need a little heat help at night unlike our New England Friends.
Tomorrow we run 265 Miles to Whitehorse, YK. It is a good size town having what we would expect a small town to have in Connecticut. There are several RV repair shops with proven reputations. In the 3 days we are there, we should be able to effect a permanent repair. The worst roads are ahead of us in Alaska, we will not continue if not 100%.
Stay Tuned….
