The following was posted by M.W.B. Simon LaPlace on Facebook. I strongly suggest to those in Connecticut that this event will offer you an afternoon of serendipity if you should so desire. If per chance you have never visited MasoniCare, this is the time to do it! More info Here.
Grand Masters Day will be next Saturday, June 8, from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. on the Masonicare Health Center campus. With so much to see and do, this is great day to enjoy festive activities for the whole family. It also is a wonderful time to meet and visit with residents and see firsthand the joy that this annual tradition brings to them.
I hope to see you there !

We traveled today from Cottonwood to the South rim of the Grand Canyon. About 240 miles much of it straight up as you can see by this screenshot of my G.P.S., we are at 7,146 feet and still climbing. Old dodge done good, I think I will forget to calculate the mileage on this leg!
We next went thru Williams, AZ which claims to be the last town on Rt 66 to be bypassed by the interstate. We loaded up with groceries and propane (Yes Grace, we use the furnace in the 40°evenings). This is about 45 miles from our scheduled coming location, I’m sure we will be back.
We next arrived at Ten-X National Campground which is located about 4 miles from the South Rim of the Canyon. A great location and large sites make this a wonderful base camp to explore the area.

Than, just as we thought we had experienced a full day, Along comes a massive dose of Serendipity! More to follow tomorrow I hope.
