We‘ve been camping at the Imperial Fairground in Imperial, CA. In my previous post I used a picture of our camper sitting in a quagmire of mud. Given 4 days of 70° weather and full sun, that problem has gone away.
We have about 30 units now, a few more due today. This is valuable time to stock up on our needs and prepare and cross check all of our paperwork. Of course this come with a great deal of networking and socializing with our friendly group.
It’s 4:00 pm, Notice how stressed out these folks look. OK, maybe not.
We do in fact have organized and required attendance meetings where the rules and responsibilities are reviewed. These are never held after 4:00 for obvious reasons. our Chapter #8 officers are well versed in all of the Mexican travel requirements.
Please note: This may be the last log entry from us that you will see for a while as I am told that i-net service in Mexico is sporadic at best. Our Verizon phones and ‘hot spot’ will be off as they are useless. We should be able to grab e-mail text messages at a local Cantina, time will tell.
